Castlebar Tennis Club facilitates tennis and so much more! We are central within the community who
utilise our facilities for multiple purposes. As a busy operation, we have identified the need to recruit a
designated Tennis Club Co-Ordinator on-site, to respond to enquiries and ensure the smooth operations of
all activities and events.


We are seeking a friendly, organised and proactive Tennis Club Co-Ordinator to be the welcoming face of
our Club who will become the liaison person between the Committee, support key Committee roles (e.g.
Membership Secretary, PRO etc.) and be the central point of contact for members, visitors, coaches, and
suppliers on-site in the Clubhouse. This is a varied, hands-on role at the heart of the Club, responsible for
coordinating of all aspects of day-to-day club operations.


Key Responsibilities
ï‚· Provide a welcoming, responsive and professional service to members and visitors.
ï‚· Manage day-to-day clubhouse, court and facility operations.
ï‚· Co-ordinate membership, renewals, green fees and bookings.
ï‚· Act as the central administrative contact for coaches, coaching programmes, camps and clinics.
ï‚· Respond to enquires (e.g. give information, explain coaching events, hall availability etc.)
ï‚· Support competitions, tournaments, events and external bookings if required.
ï‚· Support Membership Secretary, Coaching team regarding members, coaching attendees, co-
ordinating accurate records, payments etc. liaising with the Treasurer.
ï‚· Support maintenance and ensure compliance requirements are maintained.
ï‚· Support the PRO with social media, website as required
ï‚· Support club and community initiatives


About You - We are looking for someone who is:
ï‚· Personable, approachable and member-focused, with excellent communication skills.
ï‚· Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
ï‚· Fluent English for both verbal and written communications
ï‚· Experienced in office administration, with strong MS Office skills and confidence using digital
systems.
ï‚· Comfortable with basic financial administration, record keeping etc.
ï‚· Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the Committee Officers, Coaches and
wider Club community.
ï‚· Flexible and willing to take a hands-on approach to the role.
ï‚· Experience in a sports or recreational facility is desirable but not essential
ï‚· A passion for sport and community service is key.


What We Offer
ï‚· 25 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 09.30-14.30, based fully on-site in the Clubhouse.
ï‚· Contract of Indefinite Duration following successful completion of probationary period.
ï‚· Remuneration based on salary plus auto-enrolment (where applicable)
ï‚· Club gear will be provided as uniform.
ï‚· Annual leave accrual of 8% of hours worked.
ï‚· No requirement to work Public Holidays.
